Benefits of the Paleo Diet

Weight loss:

Let’s face it – the number one thing most are sub-conscious about is their weight. Obesity is massive issue in today’s world.

The paleo diet adjusts the balances of your ‘normal’ diet to help fit your weight loss goal.

Do a trial run (with physicians okay) and see if this diet can work for you!

Boost the immune system:

It has been said that the Paleo Diet can strengthen the immune system for this time of flying fur-balls and dust bunnies, without tearing your wallet in two.

Diabetes and Cardiovascular System:

The Paleo Diet may help with aiding diabetes and healing cardiovascular problems. The food “categories” that are in the Paleo Diet contain less cholesterol than an average diet, and may help lower blood pressure levels.

Always consult your physician/nutritionist for changes in your diet.

What is IN the Paleo diet?

Organic Gurlz Gardens is here to share a few foods that should (and shouldn’t) be in your diet.

Fruits and Vegetables:

*The more veggies, the better! *

Say no to canned food!

To re-instate the ‘freshness’ from the previous paragraph, the Paleo diet ‘guidelines’ include avoiding canned and processed foods.

Avoid dairy products:

In the Paleo diet, dairy items such as cheese and milk can only be consumed rarely. Be wary as to what ingredients are in other products you consume.

Pile on the seafood:

Sushi, Fish, and Crab are all great ways to put protein in your Paleo diet.

*Again, always consult your physician/nutritionist for changes in your food regimen.*

And of course, don’t forget to exercise as well!

Don’t forget to tell your kids, grandchildren , nieces and nephews about the Kids Oasis!
