The modern home is always evolving. It’s easy to get inspiration, but most homeowners don’t know how to start. When I speak to LSPS clients, most want to incorporate trending designs into their remodel. However, once we start visiting showrooms for materials, they sway from one concept to another. It’s easy to do so with a variety of possibilities in front of you. I always advise them to have a design in mind, whether it be traditional, transitional or contemporary. From there, it’s easy to mix and match materials for your room. For example, a contemporary design often consists of clean lines, a traditional design often features ornate details and a transitional design combines both worlds.  With a design in mind, one can move forward with design trends, such as…

Holly’s entry was the winner, selected randomly from votes cast for the 2014 New Jersey Remodeling Project of the Year. Design Build Planners posted the ten best best completed projects in New Jersey that they designed and developed. The projects were all built by members of the DBP Preferred Remodelers Network.
