While I am thankful and appreciative everyday, today, September 11th, is probably the most important day to proclaim my feelings. THANK YOU to all the men and women that do an amazing job of keeping us safe and watching over us in the face of so much evil, terror, violence, and hatred. THANK YOU to all those that risk their own lives on a regular basis while we go about our daily routines. THANK YOU to those locally, nationally and internationally that do not know my name or my family’s names, but still are prepared to go above and beyond for us. THANK YOU to the past and present law enforcement officers, firefighters, first responders, military, and all agencies known and clandestine for everything you did and do for us 24-7. THANK YOU and PRAYERS for the people and their families that gave all, the supreme sacrifice, selflessly, so that we can have our freedom, safety, and the American way of life. Continue reading

One Remodeler’s Recollection of September 11th 2001

In 2001 I was the sales director for a large home improvement company in New Jersey (the photo is from that time). September 11th was a Tuesday. While 9/11/01 is a day that no one will ever forget, I remember the day of the week because we had a very expensive full-page ad running in a major newspaper that day.
