Q: What is your favorite show on HGTV?
A: Flip or Flop
Q: What impact, positive or negative, do you think these shows have on homeowners considering a remodeling project?
A: Both. These shows can have a positive impact because they give people insight into various home remodeling possibilities. However, they can also lead to unrealistic expectations because they tend to provide false information such as; pricing, lead times, and overall length of project.
Q: How has “green remodeling” played a part of your projects over the last few years?
A: Homeowners in the Burgin Construction Inc. service area are inclined to focus on effectivity.
Q: What is the most unusual project a homeowner has ever asked you about?
A: A unique project that we are currently working on is creating a serene space in an unusual area- a meditation room underneath the stairs.
Q: What advice would you offer a remodeling company owner just starting out?
A: Don’t get too big too quick. Instead, focus on steady growth while maintaining consistent quality, product and service.
BONUS QUESTION: What is that last book that you have read?
A: The Everygirl’s Guide to Diet & Fitness by Maria Menounos – I highly recommend it.
