The Monmouth County, New Jersey homeowners had just purchased a new home and were anxious to get to work on a kitchen and bathroom remodeling project. The Morganville, NJ homeowners hired the Design Build Planners to create designs for his home. Below is a bullet point overview of the project. To the right is a dollhouse overview of the project.
Kitchen
- Partial demo of existing kitchen as needed
- Pantry closet remains
- Remove knee wall (relocate HVAC)

- New appliance package to include 30″ range, venting microwave hood, dishwasher
- Configure 1 level island with two outlets
- Install 42″ inch cabinets as per plan

Bathroom
- Gut bathroom partial as needed
- Remove tub and reinstall over new tile
- Enlarge and angle shape shower
- Shower to have granite bench seat off tub deck, corner shelves, glass surround, wall head
- New vanity as per plan
- Tile in the tub area to 30′, shower to the ceiling, none on shower ceiling, floor, and as base
- Two wall mounted sconces of the mirror, reuse existing exhaust and ceiling lights

The design options are a result of homeowners online research combined with an in-home consultation with Design Build Planners. There is also a proprietary profile checklist that homeowners fill out that depicts their lifestyle, bathroom, and kitchen usage. After compiling this information, Design Build Planners incorporates their construction knowledge and design creativity for the space with a focus on the budget and overall investment.
