The Morris County, NJ homeowners wanted to redo their kitchen. They hired Design Build Planners to create designs for their kitchen remodel. The design and development work was by Design Build Planners. The construction and remodeling by ProSkill Construction.
First, the homeowners were seeking to enlarge the doorway from their kitchen to their dining room. Further, the wall needed to be reframed and patched at the hall closet. Next, a new patio door was to be inserted in the breezeway to the deck. New tile was to be added in the kitchen and mudroom. Finally, the expansive cabinetry and lighting that was to be added to the kitchen was done as per the plan.
Below are bullet points touching on a few of the major aspects of the kitchen remodel.
- Open wall to dining room by 4′ and relocate thermostat
- Remodel kitchen with updated lighting
- Tile in kitchen and breezeway
- New door from breezeway to deck
- Garbage disposal
- Under cabinet lighting
- Hidden outlets
- Painting in kitchen and breezeway
- 18″ diagonal tile in kitchen and breezeway
The homeowner drew her inspiration from kitchen remodeling projects featured on Houzz.com. The design options are a result of homeowner’s online research combined with an in-home consultation with Design Build Planners. There is also a proprietary profile checklist that homeowners filled out that depicts their lifestyle and kitchen usage. After compiling this information, Design Build Planners incorporates their construction knowledge and design creativity for the space with a focus on the budget and overall investment.
This project will be built by ProSkill Construction, a DBP Preferred Remodeler.
