The most rewarding part of my job as a Realtor is showing my buyers beautiful properties and helping them find their dream home. Being with them thru this exciting but stressful process and being able to hand them the keys to their home, knowing they will be making lifetime memories there. For my sellers, having the privilege to guide them on their path they take in their lifestyle change and help them make their dreams come true!
2. What do find most challenging about your job in today’s marketplace?
The biggest challenge I find today is the competitive market. With the low interest rates being offered, there is a lot of competition among buyers. This results in multiple offers and homes selling quickly. Therefore, I must act aggressively and quickly when a home comes on the market of interest to my clients
3. What advice would give a first time home buyer?
For the first time buyer, I will explain the process upon our first conversation. The most important first step is getting pre-approved by a lender. The lender will qualify and determine a comfortable budget for the client. They will also discuss all of the different loan options. Once the client is pre-approved, I am ready to find them their dream home.
4. What is the funniest or strangest thing that you have seen at a house showing?
The strangest and scariest thing I have discovered at a house was a basement full of monster and clown dummies stored behind a finished basement closet door. I certainly didn’t expect that when I opened the door! I was glad my clients did not choose this home. I wouldn’t want to go back for a home inspection!
5. Describe the ideal home for you.
The ideal home for me would be a home full of love and family no matter where the location is, however, if I had to make a choice, I often dream of owning a beach house. A beautiful home, regardless of size, to build lifetime memories, smell the ocean air and to hear my children’s laughter drown out the waves,. That would be the most peaceful place on earth for me.
