This Aberdeen, New Jersey family planned on having a multi generational home. However, they had trouble finding a home that suited everyone’s desires. In this case, the younger couple purchased a home that they fell in love with, planning to add a custom addition for the parents to it. The Design Build Planners created designs for the in law suite addition. To the right is a computer rendering of the front of the planned addition. LOK Designs will be building the project.
The homeowners drew their inspiration from remodeling projects featured on Houzz.com. The design options are a result of homeowners online research combined with an in-home consultation with Design Build Planners. There is also a proprietary profile checklist that homeowners fill out that depicts their lifestyle and room use. After compiling this information, Design Build Planners incorporates their construction knowledge and design creativity for the space with a focus on the budget and overall investment.
