Natural Nail Strengthening Tips From Becca, one of the Garden Gurlz
There are natural ways to prevent your fingernails from breaking. Here are some tips on how to strengthen fingernails naturally:
Give fingernails enough moisture.
My Mommy, Becca from Organic Gurlz Gardens of Fort Wayne, Indiana recommends using cold pressed virgin olive oil. The olive oil provides moisture for your nails.
To use , Simply Apply the homemade nail strengthener to your nails using a clean cotton swab.
Avoid using nail polish remover often.
Apply paste made from mixing garlic and oil on the nails regularly.
Then follow with rubbing either a lime or lemon rind on the bed nails. The oils from the rind helps shine the nails and leaves a pleasant scent.
Increase consumption foods that strengthen fingernails naturally. These include foods that are rich in sulfur and protein.
Incorporate more Biotin in your diet. Foods that are rich in biotin content to assist in keeping your nails healthy. A good example of a vegetable that is rich in biotin is cauliflower.
Avoid using fingernails in removing staple wires, stickers, and other similar objects.
Keep both fingernails and toenails short. Trim them regularly to avoid cracking and splitting as breaking usually occurs more when in longer nails and cuticles.
