Hi There, Fellow Gardeners!
This is AnnahMarie and Becca.
Outside in your personal oasis, relaxing in a stretched out lawn chair, enjoying sunshine as a delectable selection of ‘meats’ with your friends and family. What’s missing? The ‘Organics’!
We at Organic Gurlz Gardens are here to share a few tips on amping up the garden on the outdoor barbecue.
A few beginning questions to define your sought after flavor.
Charcoal or Gas?
Charcoal is great for a nice smoky flavor! This burning substance is generally more environmentally friendly than other alternatives – and less stressful on the wallet than propane.

Which should I use – the grill or smoker?
It all depends on your preferred ‘zest’. The smoker is awesome for ribs, steak (which is versatile – grill or smoker), turkey neck, and so on.
Many enjoy roasting wings and lamb chops as well as many other juicy meats on the grill.
We at Organic Gurlz Gardens suggest using the most natural decoration for your outdoor party – your garden! Placing beautiful fresh-cut garden grown flowers in eating areas is another great way to bring in the delightful atmosphere.
Adding in the ‘Organic’ aspect-
Non – rBST raised meats:
Eliminating rBST raised meat from your party and grill rack is a fantastic start to begin ‘healthing up’ your event! Be sure to examine the fine print on the labels that decorate the meat tray – many of these store-bought meats may have rBST hiding in them.
How could we forget; don’t negate to add some garden fresh veggies and fruits on the grill!
Scrumptious vegetables such as asparagus and carrots or even fruits such as apples (sliced, of course) make a perfect side dish for a sirloin!
Don’t forget to tell your kids, grandchildren , nieces and nephews about the Kids Oasis!
Keep on growing!
