Many are flocking to energy drinks as a primary source for energy. The only problem is that these energy drinks such as Monster and Red Bull are not natural. Just because the flavor says ‘berry fusion’ doesn’t mean it comes from the earth.
While it is easy to gain energy through carbohydrates and fats, they aren’t beneficial for the body in large quantities.
So what can we use to boost our energy?
Follow along in this article to found out!
Common electrolytes – Chloride, Sodium, and Potassium
Electrolytes are salts naturally found in the fluids of the body. Many of us need electrolytes for endurance throughout exercise. If electrolytes are depleted too quickly from the body during a workout, they can cannot be restored as quickly as there were lost.
A person exercising may become fatigued in a matter of minutes when working out at their home “gym” (Many become tired after only 30 minutes of exercise). In addition, when athletes (or gardeners or others who are engaging in physical activity) are working, electrolytes are slowly seeping out of the body through sweat.
Therefore, it is important to incorporate electrolytes into our fluid drinking regimen to maintain and preserve energy.
Some positives about energy drinks:
While the majority of energy drinks aren’t natural, drinking energy beverages do boost energy.
Also, consuming energy drinks may provide the brain to stay more focused on a certain topic.
