These Monmouth County, New Jersey homeowners sought to create a gathering room. The project was to add a 480 square foot addition to create a new, bigger kitchen, add a powder room, and sitting area with a fireplace. A walk-in closet was added to the master bedroom. The exterior was re-sided with vinyl and stone. The roof and skylight were replaced.  A masonry patio was added in the backyard to replace the old wood deck. The front porch wood railing and posts were replaced with vinyl.
