The Homeowners’ Dream
These Rockaway NJ homeowners had saved up some money and were looking to maximize their outdoor living space and create a true 3-season backyard for relaxing and entertaining.
After being introduced to Design Build Planners, browsing our projects and reviews on Houzz, and getting to know the DBP team, they made the commitment to design and build the best backyard living area they possibly could.
The Design Build Planners visited visited the home for an initial in-depth consult, where we learn about the homeowners’ lifestyle, the vision they have for their project, and their ideal timeline and financial investment. It is only after a thorough consultation that we are able to suggest ideas and develop design concepts for a client’s potential new project.
After digesting the information the homeowners provided, our design team went to work on creating several 3D design concepts of their new backyard, which you can see below:
The New Backyard Oasis
The completed renovation of this New Jersey home included extensive work to the inside, as well as transforming the outside, including:
- A spacious full outdoor kitchen
- A stylish portico overhang
- A folding patio door
- A large, but cozy stone fireplace
- A conveniently located pool house with a full bathroom and shower
- A new pool liner
- Attractive retaining walls
- New pavers
- A storage shed
The space was designed and built for 3-season living – spring, summer, and fall. There is plenty of room to cook and entertain, functional areas such as the bathroom and storage shed, and the privacy of feeling like you’re at your very own resort.
