Everyone does cooking in their kitchen; unfortunately everyone is not a gourmet chef! Having the heat on too high or leaving food on too long can result in some of your food getting burnt on to your pots and pans. While cleaning the burnt on food may seems like a daunting task, below you will find some effective tips for tackling the challenge!
Perhaps the best solution is baking soda. All you need to do is add a cup of baking soda and a cup of water. You will see the crusted on black mess falling off in about half an hour!
White vinegar or lemon juice also work really well! Pour enough to cover the bottom of the pot or pan, allow it to simmer for a few minutes, and then use a kitchen scrub brush.
Need something in a pinch? Bring water to a boil in the affected pot or pan. Then and add a fabric softener sheet–really! After several hours you should be able to easily remove the mess.
Make sure to try one of these solutions to keep all components of your kitchen looking great!
