Today , Organic Gurlz Gardens of Fort Wayne, Indiana will be sharing information about the Artificial Sweetener Aspartame, Is it Healthy?
Although, the artificial sweetener was approved at first, many had their doubts.
A vast amount of studies have been done on Aspartame, and the results are consistent by the experiments funded by aspartame companies , most – if not all – of the results show no negative side effects. The same studies conducted by independently funded groups (Not a part of the artificial sweetener ban) however, discovered health impeding concerns.
In 1980, both an independent board of doctors and an FDA panel ruled that the sweetener was not proven safe enough to be put on the market.
The unease raised by the aspartame studies is quite serious. Only three decades after it was labeled safe for human consumption, aspartame climbed the rankings to be the #1 source of complaints to the FDA regarding its side effects. In the lab, aspartame has caused brain tumors in rats on various occasions.

The majority of this health hazard contains amino acids. While the body is familiar with them in other forms (The healthy forms), the sweetener delivers them in such a high dose, without any natural mitigating factors, that it overloads your system. Too much of anything in particular is bad for you, particularly in a combination as uncertain and potentially dangerous as aspartame.
Most sweetener producing companies add methanol. Wow. Why would we (humans) want to eat the same thing that fuels our autos?
Our bodies are important. Never negate doing research on the foods you are eating. Find out ingredients, studies, and healthy alternatives. Although, the label from companies such as NutraSweet say they are good and nutritious (based on their own self – funded studies) , doesn’t mean your foods actually are.
Don’t forget to tell your kids, grandchildren , nieces and nephews about the Kids Oasis!
